I'm so glad that Merlin grins a lot in your fics! he stopped doing that much on the show towards the end and it was awful :(
BUT YAY I love magic reveal fics and this one was perfection :) Merlin being toted off to the dungeons for old times sake, Arthur doing that "half-annoyed, half-amused" thing he does so well :)

Yaya Merlin and Gwen, the cutest BFFs ever :) I love them and I wish the show had done more with them! So thanks for chinking in one of the gaps.

A couple of things: love the backwards man thing! I wish they could have put that into the show somehow :) it's one of the coolest Merlin things IMO.
My heart leapt when I thought you were going for Mergana! Can't you throw me a bone oh pretty pretty pls

I'm glad that Gwaine thought of lice. Honestly, I'd rather he lost a limb than that gorgeous hair (or his life, SOB). And that trick with the keys was genius! Would that Merlin had ever thought of anything half so clever (seriously, maybe the ease of magic-working addled his brain, but it was ALWAYS that same old "make the dice or the barrels roll away on their own!" gambit and it drove me crazy).
Love it. Gimme more Gwaine too pls

Awwwwwwwwwwww protective!Arthur! I wish we could have seen more of that (or just more of Gwen, period) in the last seasons! I'm not sure that I believe Arthur would have come around to reason so quickly, tho. Merlin would probably have had to calm him down over a few days while the would-be assassin cooled his heels in the dungeons!
Adorable, Arthur is Too Pure for this world. And that assassin is lucky Merlin can think on his feet.

I can't believe you jacked a conversation from KKHH! Next thing you know, Gwen will be gamboling around Switzerland in a shiny purple sari while Arthur and Lancelot sing a duet-duel for her affection!
Actually that is a brilliant idea and I AM WRITING IT
p.s. The ending was interesting. Now I want a whole series of stories dedicated to answering the question of why Great-Uncle Merlin is weirding out Merlin Emrys. HOP TO IT

YES give me all the Merlin and Arthur being the cutest not-quite-servant-and-master pair around. I could have watched ten seasons of just them being adorable nerds.
