I really have no words that haven't already been said for this story. It's a bold new idea with a lot of merit. The interactions between Hikari, Yami, and the rest of the gang will be interesting.
I love how "Dark Naruto" less of a Kyuubi-based Naruto, and more of an actual darker Naruto. His ideals are the same but his methods are more forceful and his personality is much more secure (and arrogant) in his own strength. Meanwhile, the "Light Naruto" is just an amplification of his usual personality but with none of the brashness.
Is the split permanent or a temporary set-up?
I do hope you'll return to this story at some point. It's a breath of fresh air and I would love to see it continued.

Interesting. Will you have Hikari and Yami combining eventually or do they have to stay apart since Naruto is so powerful right now that he can't control it in his normal form?
As for the two, Hikari seems like he's stronger than Yami but more of a pacifist whereas Yami doesn't seem evil, but with his version of justice he's willing to either kill the problem or force them to submit to his power. A good representation of Naruto's light and dark so far, but I hope you update soon since not a lot of people do this kind of fic

This is a very interesting idea, definitely an original one that I've never come across before. I look forward to future chapters, especially the explanation about Naruto's separate bodies thing. Do you have any ideas on pairings yet?

Wow. Awesome story. Top notch writing skills. Great characters. Heaven! 'Nuff said...
Kudos on taking this story in a new direction. At least I have not read anything similar, especially in this genre... So 1 for a bold new idea.
I like the characterization of Yami. And the clever circumstances for his existence. Now, you can go all out in crafting a BAMF character without worrying about rabid Naru fan flaming you. I really want to see more of Yami, his personality and what makes him tick...
Yami's outlook in life is depressing but strangely fitting for his circumstance. That said, I hope there is no plot by the girl of RV to redeem him in the future or something equally asanine. I just don't want him to change.
Hikari only appeared at end, so I'll withhold judgement on his character. If he is indeed the polar opposite of Yami with a large dose of cute, he'll become the favored mascot in no time.
Dunno why, but I just love to see arrogant character cut down to size. I cheered when Ichigo held off Byakuya after obtaining Bankai despite the latter's many bold proclamations. That's why, I enjoyed Yami's handling of Moka; and especially the part when Moka realized that Yami is different and most certainly stronger then her.
I hope you continue to have such conflicts that will challenge the perception and beliefs of the RV gang. Monsters hiding from the human in a world dominated by the latter; most are unusally arrogant about their position.
Well, this was a good start. I hope to see a MC that will challenge the cast of RV in such a way that they are forced to mature mentally and take stock of their position. Monsters hiding in a human controller world. Monster that hunt other monster. Generally, wake up to the dark world they inhabit.

Okay...you are basically telling me that Naruto split in two...one is the light, who is a tiny kid, and the other one is a grown one, who is the dark. If that's your idea...dude you better come up with a reasonable explanation. Wonder what the pairings are though...

Well, this should be fun. Few questions pop up; 1st, what exactly happened to the Doom-Furry? This little scenario implies that Yami Naruto has enough of his energy pumping through his system that he's a half-step under a full cloak 24/7, and he acts much too similar to the fuzzy fucker for it to be coincidence. 2nd, what the Hell happened to Naruto that made him by the sound of things de-age? I'd figure that a split would be similar to a permanent shadow-clone, rather than the body apparently warping on itself or some such insanity. 3rd, how do you figure they're going to interact with both Mokas? The general situation is WAY too similar for things to not be interesting on that front. Maybe Naruto has a copy of the technique that split himself up to use on her on request? 4th and finally, what are you going to have either (or both, considering that he be ninja) Naruto do to Saizo when they learn that the ugly bastard was trying to rape and eat Moka before the Yami Moka shoved his lower jaw down his throat by way of foot? Considering how seriously Konoha-nin in general and Naruto in particular take watching their buddies' back and what the average bandit is likely to be like when presented with a helpless hot chick (which most decent kunoichi wind up being to some degree), gutting rapists is likely to be instinctual at this point. Well, we'll see either way.
Altogether, an interesting and amusing idea. Keep going!
