Very nice interlude with Caroline and Klaus. Unfortunately she 'still is' actually accomplishing the distraction she was asked to do, so it extra sad too because even though she used genuine emotions and they had a nice time, she set him up, and he'll never believe it wasn't just another distraction-her going above and beyond for her friends. I would have loved to see it without her being asked to distract him, so that both could believe in the end it was real when everything comes out in the open later.

The thing I really enjoy is the fact that I get the feeling you know exactly how to get your point across, and it's wonderful (now, this might not be the case, but whether this is true or not you should know that in my eyes you seem to know your shit, and I'm just going to pretend that you know exactly what your doing to my aching fangirl heart).

Just read this again and I still can't get over the beginning! The fact that Klaus is a pleasurable hell for Caroline just kills me. IT KILLS ME. And when he goes to help her after she's burned. This is something I missed the first time I read it but I love how you wrote this. "He clenched his jaw at the damage to her hand." It's as if he can't bear to see a single scratch on her because that's just how much he cares for her. Ugh. Why do you do this to me. And the enddd! How he kissed her hand! I'm melting. Help me.
