This was good.
Action packed, some character development, a little fluff. I'm a sucker for a good romance, 2 parts fluff, 1 part angst, 1 part eroticism (or smut depending but not always) anf the two seem to just fit if you will, well done.

Sometimes those "anticlimactic" ends to bosses are so delicious.
Its like "Yea you and everyone else THOUGHT you were bad, but you really arent" is so refreshing sometimes. Especially when folk tend to make villains stick around longer than they should.
Kabuto from Naruto is a good example.

So I was re reading (love this story by the way, any chance of an update soon?) and noticed that throughout this chapter you kept saying three months, which I know is what is said in the episode, however you've dated this September 3rd and had their departure date as July 16th which isn't even two months let alone three.
Sorry to be picky but continuity mistakes really bug me in fics.

Really like this story and your use of some words in Arabic does add authenticity but please don't go to overboard with to many words

This has been a truly interesting story to read. I have to admit, that at first, i really wasn't feeling it. I've never been a huge fan of the Harry Potter becoming a squib stories. I more prefer the crossovers where he's still magical and just somehow ends up interacting with other groups.
But i stuck it out because it seemed like it might be interesting, despite the first couple chapters feeling a little forced or rushed. I'm honestly not sure exactly what rubbed me about them wrong.
At any rate, by the time i got to the part about harry joining Atlantis, i was hooked. You've done an amazing job with character building and laying this all out. It's been a classic example to me of why we shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
I guess what I'm saying is, it's been a pleasure reading this. I hope you keep it up.

This is an absolutely amazing story; I love it! I really enjoy your characterisations and the way you've incorporated new characters into the overall story line, it makes for an interesting read since there's just enough overlap to keep the general feel and ideas behind Stargate Atlantis, with enough differences to stop it getting boring.
I read Cast Between Worlds a long time before I read this and while the first chapter gave me a few a few worries (before the recognition in chapter two and following) it is definitely a different story, one that I enjoy just as much.
I also very much enjoy the details of everyday life that you've incorporated... It's something that as a general rule makes a story much more believable for me (realistic isn't quite the word, but hopefully you get my drift).
Things that I'm very much looking forward to are; more about Hermione (I admit to being sceptical on her inclusion at first but I am definitely enjoying it now!), more people discovering about 'Storm's' abilities and a deepening of the understanding and relationship between Teyla and Harry.
I'm also hoping for more scenes between Potter and Sheppard; I love the banter between those two and it just feels like they could be good friends... They can probably relate to each other with similar experiences and mutual respect that comes from what they know about each other. I'd also love for Sheppard (I can't seem to think of him as John for some reason) to find out about Harry's childhood and age (not necessarily breaking secrecy, just more information) and also for him to find out about Harry's side of that joint (not necessarily sanctified) operation in Afghanistan.
I should point out that I'm not hoping for a relationship like in Cast Between Worlds (although I love that story) but just a very good friendship, like I imagine Harry had/has with Hetty and Hermione. It's something that I find you don't see often enough just about everywhere.
I also love the interactions between Potter and the rest of the Marines, and I am very much looking forward to reading more!
(For some reason I'm assuming that you have the same exam period as me, so I'm not actually hoping for an update until late July, assuming that you're not going to work seriously on your stories until mid to late June at the earliest, but I have to say I'm not waiting particularly patiently.)
I would say 'Good Luck' on your exams, since that seems to be traditional, but I've never really liked the phrase, (because it feels like all the work you put in is redundant) so I'll say Bon Courage! instead (and assume you know how to use the internet).
