Just recently got back into the fandom and did a reread of this. It still holds up and is an awesome read. Reading this just me through a tough time in my life. After a long day, opening this app and reading the next chapter felt like coming home to old friends. You did a phenomenal job writing this so thank you, Yuna!

I keep rereading your stories trying to prevent the story from ending. It always does and then I start the story all over. Your writing is so fantastic and the stories are detailed with character development. It has been such a honor to read such incredible storytelling. Your works surpass some of my favorite authors. Ok, confession, I skipped most the first half of this chapter as the detailed torture didn't seem important for me to follow the storyline... and I didn't want to.
I have loved this story up till here, and don't usually skip things but just didn't need to read hat part.

This is the first review I’ve written in years. I haven’t written fanfiction myself in such a long time, but I still read when I can. It has continued to support me, a passion and a comfort that has persisted through years of real life struggles, victories, and everything in between. I feel as though in many ways, I have left fanfiction… but fanfiction has never left me.
I say this all now because I have had your incredible story’s final chapter in my inbox for years now (years?! Really?!) and I’ve been afraid to read it. It felt too final, too much like a goodbye. But for some reason tonight felt like the right night. So after 2.5 years of waiting, I read this amazing chapter. It was everything your work has always been - action-packed, page-turning, exciting, vulnerable, emotional, beautiful.
I guess what I’m really trying to say is thank you. As much as these characters and this fandom have guided you through difficult times, you have done the same for me and many others. I started reading your story in high school and I’m now closer to 30 than I ever thought I’d be. You have provided such a beautiful escape, a stunning comfort, with your words and characterizations and the soulfulness you put into every word. Your writing has given me happiness and peace and the freedom to FEEL, even when that did not feel like an option in real life.
Wherever you are now, whatever you’re writing or doing with your day-to-day, please know this: you have given me, and this world, something beautiful. And that persists long past the final word of this story. Thank you. I wish you all the best.

(also, i'm very sorry that you had to experience this. i think many more of us have gone through something similar than you'd think... and there's no preventing it, in the final analysis, b/c you've got to trust someone to know if you can trust them - and many times, the ones who let you down do so /when/ you need them the most, /because/ you need them, and it's their decision not to step up for you. and neither of you is going to know if that's the way it will go, beforehand...)

Words escape me! I have read this story and I am in awe! I have adopted your story as Star Trek canon. Paramount should take note of this story. Seriously, this was great! That was a hell of a last chapter. I’ve been pushing off reading it because I never wanted this story to end-it was one of the first I ever really got into on this site and carried me through middle school, high school, and here I am reading the final chapter two weeks shy of my college graduation. You’ve done a fantastic job bringing the Star Trek characters to life and making them as real as other original fictional characters. As a current writer and hopefully future published author myself, I aspire to write characters and detailed plot lines as well constructed as you do. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m proud to see you finish it off with a bang.
