Woa...the way you describe Phora I have to wonder where she is on the AY curve myself. She may not be one herself but I wonder if a family member was a full AY? I think Abby may be right that Phora suspects something but the justicar has to be uncertain with Aria introducing them as bondmates. If she does suspect maybe she thinks Asura hasn't killed anyone yet and thus isn't inflicted with the addiction.
And poor Asura still no physical sex from Abby (LOL).

Wow, Phora's creepy factor just went way up. Her behavior with Abby was insanely creepy, though I'm betting she was testing to see if Asura would do anything. On the other hand, she could herself be an Ardat-Yakshi.
The scene with Oz was also quite well done. Hopefully Abby will invest in Varren training manuals sometime soon. Preferably before another incident occurs.
Altogether this was an amazing chapter. I look forward to reading the next one.

Having been attacked by a dog once, and believing firmly in the laws in the U.S. and Canada that ban certain types whose genetics (and often training), nudge them toward violence, I was disappointed by the rehabilitation theme in this chapter. I very seriously doubt that an animal like the ferin you have characterized here would be controllable. In this case Fora was right, and I think you wrong-even though I must assume you to be a veterinarian or at least a tech. The last half of the chapter is incredibly well done, and I look forward to seeing how that part of this story proceeds. Thanks as always for your hard work on this tale.

I like your Kenson much better than cannon Kenson. All the subtle little cues that something is wrong, the whispering of the coming of the Reapers, etc. Perfect!
The section with Asura was masterfully written. I really enjoyed seeing all the thoughts that rushed through her mind in this situation. It was quite fascinating.
Also, I'm getting the strangest feeling that the killings on Omega are from Dr. Solus trying to find a way to cure or treat Asura or Abby. I mean, who else would be trying to research Ardat Yakshi melding mechanisms?
