That must have been a very traumatic experience for Admiral Shepard... everybody disobeying her orders and listening to her daughter instead.
Thanks for the link(s) to the music (they were both the same, by the way). Not bad, but not quite as good as the official ME music. :)

Well I enjoy your writing as always, it is such a pleasure for me to read what you had written as well! However, cliffhanger is not as enjoyable as one would think right? Come back soon!

aaa~ This was such an amazing pickmeup after work. Relieved to see our heroes finally off of that rock. Overall, I have to say I very much liked how you handled Arrival, especially everyone's horror at Jane setting the asteroid off. Still, you manege to end with a cliffhanger, can't wait to see how Jame and Samara recover.

Nicely I have never liked the game trope of having Shepard deal with the Badak relay situation by herself. Fanfiction sometimes handles this better. If I ever do manage to get to this point in some of the ME fic I'm thinking about it will be handled differently... Thanks for your hard work on this, as always looking forward to future installments and particularly glad to see this one from you.

All right, this was very good - Shepard's determination, and finally her despair and her surrender were very well done. Makes me wonder how they're going to get out of it. Especially since the Normandy is preparing to destroy all that she's worked so hard for. Maybe they'll try to communicate, she hears them, finds new strength, fixes the comms, and then has them pick up Samara and her.
But I hope you'll wrap up this part of the story soon and give us some more Abby and Asura time. :)

Why must you taunt me so with this cliffhanger! What would happen next?
come back soon

This made my day seeing an update, albeit this chapter ending might've brought up some tears. Always glad to see another chapter come up.

Wow! Quite the angsty chapter. I never liked this mission in ME and can't say I like the concept of it more in your retelling but you do a very good job of framing the emotional issues you create by adding Samara and her injuries to the story. Thanks loads for a very good and engaging read, looking forward to the next installment.

I wish I could've read this the day it came out. I'm so glad to see your return to this fic, this undeserved pairing needs as much love as possible. I think the most important thing is you got back to writing at all-which can often be the biggest hurdle. I look forward to the next chapter

Excellent chapter. Glad Samara admitted she made a mistake leaving Shepard. Thanks for updating and please continue.

No, Asura, nooo... :)
Good chapter though, thanks for coming back and updating the story.
It was nice to see Shepard and Samara work together, and for Samara to decide that she made a mistake leaving Shepard. Hopefully Shepard will be able to trust her again, but I have high hopes that she will after Samara's show of solidarity and offer to help shoulder Shepard's burden. Not to forget, "for all the time that they didn't have, she had time for this". That was beautiful.
Good for EDI that Hannah is not in charge on the Normandy...

I'm so glad to know you're alive, even if the last few months have apparently been difficult for you. You handle this chapter very very well, and begin building the bridge of support that Shepard will need in ME3 even if you never write that story because in so many ways Shepard isn't the core of this action. I look forward to future installments and thank you for your hard work on this while sending my very best thoughts to you.

Thank you, Abby's and Asura's moment was very tender and at last I can see them as a couple.

YES! FINALLY! SHep and SAMARA ARE TOGETHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER FOREVERRRRRRRRRR! well , okay . Maybe not forever...but we getting there lol
Welcome back Lady! I hope you kicked your illness away and is getting better as days pass you by :)
Aww , I feel sad for Asura . She is your 'I'm cursed with death and all I want is to have the right to breath' .
I always felt bad for the ardat-yakshi . Yes I love the justicar order , I love Samara . It doesn't stop me from finding the fate of the ardat-yakshi something sad and feel unfair .
Liara always made me cringe when she say 'they are our shame' . To me , usually when you bran something as a 'shame'...you just close the door on hope for them to be free from watever is cursing them .
I would have gone after a cure for them , I would have gone deeper and looked at how to recognize the symptoms sooner . I would have gone to find a way to make their life more productive then locking them up in a monastary and letting them find strengh in prayers .
I would have...but we couldn't . And that is sad .
