I'm always so happy when I see a notice of this fic being updated. I can't remember if I've said this previously, but I really love what you're doing both with Hannah and Phora. Hannah could've been written any number of ways, but it's so exciting to see her be the ultimate badass that even Jane avoids. And as for Phora, for a character that was only mentioned in what-two sentences of a datapad?-you've built her up so interestingly. I love that she's just the right touch of deluded crazy in such a position of power.

Say watever you want about Aria . But she is truly remarquable . She is the dancer who stand between the notions of good and evil . And you won't know on which side her foot would step first . I just love her charachter .
I though Justicar can detect an ardat-yakshi...without any detector :P I mean couldn't they ? lol

I was wondering how you were going to handle the Morinth business. An elegant if surprising (to me!) solution. I doubt you've time to explore it but curious that the artifact's power would impact a Justicar in such a way. Your interactions between Aria and Abby are always really well done. The interest Aria has for Abby is obvious and yet in so many ways not fully explained. Great depth on that character and also very nice on the deepening of Abby's character in the conversation about saving things. However long this story takes you to finish, I will sincerely look forward to further installments.

Goddess , you just know how to keep the action going and make us sit bending over reading every word like it is a movie going in slow motion XD Seriously , that was epic !
I do find Shep mom a bit...hard . And too military-like . Well Duh! she is in the alliance , but from the few we heard from her in-game and the tone of her voice . Let just say yours, I wouldn't want to miss my salute lol
As for Phora . From what everyone said . I personaly think she is suspecting or already know about them . And she is setting the trap. Unless she is with Kenson and her brain is already gone nananére and she is indoctrinated . I mean Kenson talking about Abby existance in this world and Phora sniffing around like a predator looking for cluecoincidence?
And I don't think she is ardat-yakshi either . If she was , asura would have felt it.
I think she is one of those Justicar who just enjoy their hunts too much . She really come out as the opposite of Samara who you can't read that easely. Phora stink arrogance and pride and cunning. Abby! Bewareeeeeeeeee!

While I still hope for more advancement on Abbies and Asura's relationship. This was an excellent chapter, from the shoot-out to Abbies talk with Phora. Not to mention Aria showing up with a poodle!
So many characters and such an excellent plot. And Phora...really. She's not Samara. The difference between the two as you showed. Phora threatens Abby on her distrust of the code. I think Samara would ask her why she distrusts it.

Oh darn it! A cliffhanger - just when it's getting interesting! I really thought that Asura having an effect on the captain was an interesting twist and I'm wondering what the elder Shepard will do with the information... So many neat little threads to be woven together. Can't wait to see how they do. Keep up the stellar work! Thanks for sharing.

I finally had a free day to read both chapters. Seeing that Jane hasn't made a reappearance yet, all this build up has left me wanting more. I love your portrayal of creepy indoctrinated Kenson, and your spin on Hannah is just another unpredictable wild card that makes her unfolding actions more and more intriguing. Keep it up

Enjoy when Abby and Jack talk, for me it feels like Jack's pretty jealous of Asura, not lover jealous, but friends. I don't think Jack has any friends, and it's confusing her how to handle one. As for Abby and Asura, it feels like after all this time, there has been no progress on their relationship, it feels like they still just met. I wish you would do something with it, rather than a Twilight style staring at each other in deep thought.

Interesting chapter. Great scene with Jack, though the scene leading to it with Hannah and Asura is a little ... confusing. Maybe I need to reread last chapter for context? Bits with Samara and Morranth are also great for character building and I think actually some of the strongest writing you've done in several chapters. forcing Samara to understand herself is essential. She is (imho) one of the best characters of the entire ME series. Thanks for your hard work on this, hoping rl doesn't get any crazier for you.
