for Merry Christmas Agent Burke

Christmas tales are the best because there's always hope. It was cute that Neal picked up on the fact that he was the only one that could see Peter...

Lovely story about friendship, loyalty,courage... Nice portrayal of the relations between the characters! But it seems you are no longer writing in the fandom? so sad...

A perfect Christmas story, a lovely riff on Dickens with just the right proportions of hurt and comfort. This highlights Peter's central role to so many of our characters and just how indispensable he is. You write it beautifully!

What an emotional rollercoaster! A very refreshing take on the Dicken's classic. Peter has so many people who deeply care for him, who're clueless without him, he can't die- ever! Another great story from you. Keep them coming, I adore your writing style :)

that was a terrific story! echoes of "a christmas carol" and even 'it's a wonderful life," but at the same time quite original. mozzie, as usual, was delightful. and i really liked scout being there for peter on the other side. still, i am glad (but not surprised) that peter took the hard road and fought his way back to life for the sake of the people he cared about.

Aww, this was great. I loved the 'A Christmas Carol' vibe, and the glances to how everything would be without Peter. I love how they were all there for Peter and El, and I believe Neal, he DID see Peter! He was the only one! ;)
Thanks for sharing.

This was a wonderful story. Everyone's reactions seemed real. I think you write all the characters well. I liked the "I am NOT Scrooge!" line.

Loved this story. The out of body experience is beautifully explored. Peter wondering if he is Scrooge his long recovery. Liked that he told Neal and El about the dream. i loved that he considers Mozzie and June important people in his world as well.

What a treat to find a new fic by you. This is just what I wanted for Christmas - a grown-up, well-crafted piece of writing which actually portrays the characters as they appear in canon. I like the start - pitches you straight into the action and sets the tone of the piece. Poor Peter - shades of 'A Christmas Carol' here, as he embarks upon a strange and telling journey, and no, Peter definitely isn't Scrooge!

I really liked Jones and Diana's little chat (I bet you guessed I might?!) LOL - can absolutely see this happening.

Ack - you worried me. Can't have a dead Peter... loved all the reactions...and overall, the truth that without Peter, so many lives would simply unravel. Not just Elizabeth and the team, but most especially Neal's and even June's. This was very clever of you, and I loved it.

The Peter/El bit at the end was the best. I wanted her to know he'd tried his hardest to get back. I adore how he worries about her. Loved the Christmas tree and all it symbolised and Neal being the only one to see Peter... but of course! And laughed out loud at the 'Please Sir...' line.

A wonderful story - one of your best.

Awwww, what a lovely story. :) I love how it's Peter's sense of responsibility and desire to protect others that draws him back, and I'm glad that El and Neal both got to know the full story. Heartwarmingly sweet without being too sappy.
