This story is SO F***ING FANTASTIC! Why is it abandoned?! Is it abaondoned? Are you ever going to finish it?
I read this all in a day, and it is one of the most intriguing stories I’ve seen in a long time. My thought process as I was reading was something like this:
Epigraph 1: This is going to be good.
Title: Generic, but okay.
Epigraph 2: Ooooohh $hit, this is going to be so good!
Chapter 1: No thought because my mind was already blown.
I literally knew right from the start that this was going to be intriguing, thoughtful, witty, and refreshing. I love your application of The Veil, and I love your random little tidbit AU shockers (“‘So Paris is still burning?’ ‘I would imagine so, yes’”).
That one line could be a 200,000 word story (so in case you need any inspiration to write said 200,000 word story: DO IT).
And seriously, I love that Albus and Tom are BAMFs in this. I would vote for Minister Riddle (I’m trying out the emoji with heart eyes here, so please forgive any formatting weirdness).
Other random brain vomit: you have an excellent sense of timing. Every line is perfectly phrased to set up a big reveal and pay it off. Reading this story is genuinely interesting because each paragraph holds its own mini-mystery to keep the reader engaged, and then satisfies enough of your curiosity with casual reveals to keep you going (honestly, Paris has been on your ‘back burner’ for a while now).

Damn, this fic has me hooked. Unfortunately, writing a good fic is hard, and sometimes people just can't finish them. I don't know if you plan on continuing this fic, but if you are I just wanted to let you know how I feel about it. If not, I understand why and what you've created so far is still great.
I love the relationship between Dumbledore and Harry. I like you've made Harry less magically talented than Dumbledore and Riddle, but acknowledge the strength of character that makes him a great wizard. Too often people just want to make Harry an overpowered god of magic.
I don't really know what the purpose of the OC is however. It seems like you are planning to delve deeper into their relationship in the future, but at present I'm not really interested in her much.
I hope you plan to give fiend fire it's place as a powerful magic. Perhaps have it be more efficient at destroying magic than Grindelwald's fire?
I feel like Dumbledore's offer to apprentice Tom was too sudden. It didn't really flow. I don't think Dumbledore would have enough faith in Tom to think he could change his ways at the time.
Anyway, that'd really all I wanted to say at the moment.

I just had to say, your story is amazing, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of this Harry Potter World as it unfolds, particularly whether Dumbledore has the Elder Wand still, 'cuz if he doesn't it'll be interesting to see a Master of Death Grindelwald! Keep up the great work!

It's a shame that this story seems rather under-appreciated if you look at the review count it is rather interesting. I hope you update this story soon the AU world you built is rather interesting although I have to wonder when you diverged from canon. Was it in Riddle's years in Hogwarts where Dumbledore took a different interest in him or was it even earlier during Albus and Gellert's friendship or was it in Dresden and if it did happen then does that mean the original chamber incident happened and the diary exists? I sincerely hope to see more of this story.
