I laughed at the part when Carl/Cato had said, "They are just a trilogy of books written by Suzanne Colins"
I liked this story!

Oh my god! One moment it was as sad and angsty it can get, and the rest I was laughing! :D Ha ha. In the very start - "Clove, wake up Clove, please love, come back to me Clover I need you!" - I did wonder why Cato (or rather Carl :P) used Clover, and then brushed it off as his lover name for her. It was well written and the Clove in Clover's mind was very canon. In the books, Clove's death was immediate, right? But I liked how you slowed it down and described it. I thought the death scene was very realistic and done well. :D I also liked how you brought out the District One's pride into the picture when Clove was describing Rue's death - how it was Marvel who actually killed her - of course she would consider Rue to be someone to easy to kill. She had that pride and arrogance in her, which was very well portrayed here.
When I realized that Clove was actually alive, I first thought that Clato somehow seemed to have won the Games. And then came the joke. Ha, I'm glad that it happened in the books. Despite them being the villains, I quite like this pair. And oh yes! The title suited it to perfection.
In the end, it was a sweet and romantic fiction. Good job! :)

Wow, this was definitely refreshingly different. I did not expect the twist in any way.

This takes a delightful turn about halfway through when us Readers get the first clues that this is _not_ just another HG story. Spellbinding from there to the end - this is really a creative twist! *applause*

I thought this story deserved at least one review, so here it is! :D
That was certainly a very different, interesting take on Clove's death. I have to say, I've never read a fanfiction quite like it before, and that for me was what made it such a good read. I loved the whole 'slipping out of one reality and into another' aspect of your story, and was so pleased that it had a happy ending. Your writing style flows very well- you kept this one-shot short, sweet, fitting and easy to understand :)
If anything, my only criticism would be to break down the speech a little. I know that Cato/Carl has a lot to tell Clover, but maybe he would only give her an outline of what happened. Still, apart from that, very, very well done! Keep writing!
