I don't really know why but I always like the fics where the darker side of winter is addressed. Great job, nice author's note at the bottom.

Oh, this is eerie. I like the whole 'Giving the children up for me to kill'. The wording puts me in mind of human sacrifice, like Jack Frost is some vengeful pagan god forced to take children against his will. Ha, sorry for rambling, I don't know if you did it on purpose but the point is I liked it. Well done.

Love the angle you're trying to portray. There could have been more quality to your story had it been longer; let your reader really feel Jack's pain, feel the personal connections, and draw out their emotions. Not bad at all.
