I confess to being a complete coward: I could read this on New Year's Day - I would have blubbed like a baby. As it is, I just had a little tear instead. Very good one-shot and excellent dialogue. As always.

Oh gosh this was so sad but lovely too. I love Auld Lang Syne, I love the meaning, and I think this is a really touching and beautiful piece as usual.
I'm very sorry to hear that you lost someone.

Aargh, this is so sad! In a good way of course.
Just the way it all starts unravelling when Remus and Sirius are talking and how the tension builds - it was delicious!
The ending was unexpected and yet in a way you can feel it coming. At first you could have though Remus was angry over something smaller like Sirius putting the moves on a girl he liked.
And all the way through the innocence that Peter seems to have when really he's the monster, I really loved that.
