It’s very satisfying to have Pam calling Sookie out on her nonsense & talking sense to her. It’s a shame something like that wasn’t going on throughout SVM/TB & so many, many FFs. I wouldn’t have hurled nearly so many cussing insults at the many Sookies & enjoyed them so much more!

I don’t see how, despite all of the emotional & psychological upset, that someone wouldn’t ask an obvious question: How did Sookie end up in the trunk? There is another guilty party who deserves punishment.
Clearly, Sookie hasn’t gotten over what Bartlett did. If she had, he wouldn’t have come up as part of her panic attack the night before.

I don’t understand why Sookie wouldn’t have used her telepathy to scope out the gas station area when she was too afraid to get out of the car. Normally she would barely be able to block out people’s thoughts & even if the Weres were unreadable, they would have registered as Weres. I get the panic & shock from the earlier attack, but if the mind reading is true to canon in this story, she should have had difficulty not reading other minds rather than not hearing anything in her head.

The only, thing bad so far about this story, is Sookie not using her telepathy, to help keep herself and those she love safe. Like girl, use your gift to be aware of your surroundings. It’s weird, like the one power she over everyone, she just doesn’t use it.
