This chapter is great it shows Julia very appreciative of William always supporting her when most of other men are just being dismissive (even Dr. Freud) and him truly in awe of her accomplishments and pushing her to do more. If it isn't the perfect description of mutual love and profound respect I don't know what is and your story perfectly depicts that.

Once again, absolutely flawless writing and once again, I can't help but smile throughout these letters. I really wish something like this actually happened in the show! P.S. I loved that last little bit there, it's so totally George. Poor Murdoch!

I truly enjoy reading your impeccably written story which describes perfectly Julia's longing but also her excitement about studying with Freud as well as her discovery of the city of Vienna.
And now we have William responding as well which is very enticing because in the show he doesn't let himself go so much and in your story and hopefully the future letters he will send Julia, we might discover more about his intense feelings for her.
Great idea, great story and I can't wait for more!

As usual this was impeccably written, heartfelt and interesting. If they did indeed talk to each other like this, it would certainly explain why William was fine with kissing a married woman! I hope in the show, they mention this correspondence at some point. Then I won't have to pretend that they were being 'naughty' for months before she came back. ;)
