Oh more, more, MORE! (Without meaning to sound so lewd) i love nostalgia fics! They make it so real for me. The sakura petals flying everywhere does make a pretty scene.

XD I laughed so much at the end, Onodera doesn't know... (this made me think of Hiroki lol)
Now onto the real review, I'm so glad I decided to read it twice. I tend to skip the descriptions most of the times (and I did on my first reading u.u) and I have to say I loved all about the sakuras in the school. They are very beautiful and you made me remember all the times in the manga when the petals appeared.
I also liked all the fans of Usagi's BL novels at the beginning and Ayuzawa! You made her a very likable character (she and Aikawa would get along well). And also is nice to see that Onodera has more friends.
I didn't understand the legend though u.u (I feel like I missed something very important).
I actually like this story as a oneshot, but I wouldn't mind seeing Onodera's reaction when he founds out about the latest Akikawa's novel. (It would be priceless).
*I think in the manga they call Hiroki: Oni no Kamijou intead of Youkai... but I'm not that sure...*

This is starting off really neat. I like how you've woven together the two canons, and the small details even with the librarian I appreciate too. I know that I'm going to enjoy this story very much. Keep it up!

i really want the sequel. The look of Onodera when he found out that his past is retold in the novel. hahaha, it will be amused.

Hey sweet Ashley Tangerine,
I wondered where you had one to and now I know. What a lovely oneshot and very well written. I can clearly see your love of the Romantica couple and your depiction of Akihiko is a delight. The combination of internal and external dialogue is handled so well and creates an apt portrait of the author.
The details about the sakura tree that runs through out the piece are wonderful. The tree almost becomes a character itself. The fact that it holds a legend and the Nostalgia couple's initials, and that the students won't allow it's extensive branches to be cut and that the administration upholds this is, to quote your Akihiko, "Romantic."
I appreciate the seamless way you work all the characters in. And you must know your mention of Hiroki pleases me greatly.
The Librarian is a treat as well, you have developed her character nicely and it is always pleasing to see a female player in a yaio story who, while flustered, is not histronic or overly fangirly. Well done.
The inclusion of Takano and Onodera at the end was a great way to bring the tale full circle. You have a nice blend of humor, reflection, and romance in this tale. A very pleasing balance.
There were a few details that caught my eye, but I'll PM you about those.
And of course I cannot leave of this review without expressing my humble gratitude at having you dedicate the story to me. I am greatly and undeservingly honored. That is is a story too, about love lost, then regained and holds the element of legend... ah well... it fills this silly sap with a lovely aching hope.
I would be delighted to see more stories from you, even if it means I shall have to suffer the loss of your wonderful reviews. So much better put to use, your talents, writing for yourself as I clearly see here.
I will be eagerly awaiting your next story.
