That... was a big letdown. The Nevermore stuff was pretty predictable, Starfire's persistence in getting answers out of Raven went on too long, the video game banter... this was mostly filler. I know you should have much better things planned for the next one and you've had writer's block for a while, but most of this chapter was obvious padding.

Ooh, that reminds me of Blue Beetle's scarab.
Nicely written. The first chapter was a bit slow and didn't reveal anything. You can lose readers that way, many are very impatient and won't go to chapter 2 unless you give them something to sink their teeth into in chapter 1.

Amusing, not much happened except them finding out it wasn't Control Freak messing with Beast Boy, otherwise there was a little fluff that was fun. Not much happened here with the plot but it wasn't bad. Mr. A
