This is such a great story! I was very curious while reading waiting to see when and how John would say it back, and I love that he waited until he knew Sherlock completely and fully understood what "I love you" meant. I also love that you reversed the common story there of John saying I love you and Sherlock finally saying it back. You made it believable and in character as well so bravo.
