Sam seems to be coping for the most part. Yeah, he gets flashes of memories, but he seems able to push them back down. I hope he stops to eat and rest once in a while, cause it wouldn't be good to overdo things. Bobby has the right idea, if Dean pushes Sam he'll only push him away. Dean didn't want Sam bugging him about hell, so he should give Sam the same consideration. Their research seems to have conflicting reports, so I hope they figure out what's going on soon.

So, this is awesome. I just clicked on your story to read a second ago and realized that... I've actually read this story already! So cool, right?!

Hmmm, so the Fates got Sam out of the cage? That can have it's own brand of trouble attached to it, just as Sam said, and the spell implied. I hope it will be okay for Sam, because it could mean that the Fates decreed he should be back topside again in order to accomplish something. I don't know if reading the books Bobby has will tell them anything along that line. Sam is right to be cautious about this. I can't wait to see what happens next! :)

Poor Sam! (I'm going to be saying that a LOT, aren't I? lol) Lucifer even managed to make him forget Dean while he was with him. It must be so strange to remember things that happened, like a mix of nightmare and reality. So many things that he can't talk about. Look how Dean reacted to seeing the scars. Sam can't even begin to explain the cage torture, it was so different from Dean's hell with Alistair. Maybe Cas could talk to Sam? If anyone could understand all that Sam experienced, I would think Cas could. I just know it would help Sam to talk about it, come to terms with being there, and now being back. Poor Dean doesn't know how to deal with Sam, even though he really wants to help him. It's going to take time, that's for sure. :(

I wish they did something similar like this for season 6 even tho I loved souless sam it feels like theyve brushed this topic over and im hoping that they do something where it comes back to bit the brothers on the bum :) or have an episode or more ;) on sam having nightmares or something...
Anywho I love ir story cuz its covering what I feel that thw show is lacking and it feels legit too.

Sam was awfully calm at finding out Lisa and Bobby were the ones to get him out of the cage. It probably still seems unreal to him. Maybe when he gets in the shower, with the hot water running over him, he will start to connect to this existance. Dean was shocked at the not-scars on Sam's body, but it will kill him even more when he realizes that Sam's mind and emotions are equally as scarred. Sam was in the cage a long time, and Alistair was a demon, not an archangel. I don't know if Sam will feel better talking with Dean about what happened down there, but I know Sam doesn't want to hurt Dean, or make him feel guilty. They will have a lot to talk about, when Sam feels up to it.

Oh wow! Cas shows up and immediately drops the bombshell that Sam IS back! Dean just arrived and found out that Lisa and Bobby did a spell to try to accomplish that, but they didn't knw if it worked. I guess that's one way to find out! lol I bet Dean rushes right outside to see Sam! He'd better be gentle with him though, cause he hasn't really adjusted to the fact that he really is back yet. I'm sure Sam is still feeling disconnected.
