Ah ha! I knew it! But I loved it anyways. Hana and Tai are adorable. One thing though; I think you should have either stuck to French for the whole conversation, or stuck to English in italics to indicate that they're talking French the whole time. Because while you did say that the grandmother only speaks French, I'm still not sure if they actually spoke any English (or Japanese I guess!) in that conversation. I don't think it was too much French, but then again I can understand it for the most part so it wasn't trouble to read the parts you included. However, I think for others who don't know any French, it would be too much (I know I hate it when there's random paragraphs of a language I don't understand included in a story, especially when the author doesn't provide a translation somewhere in the chapter). Aside from that it was cute! Fabulously done!

Long time no read, from me at least. Either your writing has improved or I've forgotten how great of a writer you are! Either way that's a compliment lol. I figured I'd review the last three chapters as a bunch because I'm lazy haha. I sooooo hate Ryo. Totally hate his guys. I don't find anything about him to be likeable. So of course the Matt chapter was my favourite; turnabout and all that. This one killed me, poor Izzy! And Tai and Ryo are just headache inducing. But this isn't a criticism! More like an appreciation that you can make me so passionately hate a made up person. I really felt the tension in these chapters! I hated reading them, so you did an amazing job! That's a sincere compliment btw. It's hard to translate tone in text but the moral of this message is that I think you're awesome.

This story is precious! Honestly, OCs aren't usually my cup of tea, but yours are so well written and fit seamlessly with the other characters. I think I find myself shipping Tai and Hana! :3 I'm excited for more!

Great, now I want a croissant. Lady, it's like 9 PM. Where am I supposed to get one, pray? That was a criminally good croissant description! (I was also amused by the thought of Tai eating whatever the two of them don't, especially since I mentioned Tai eating 3 cinnamon rolls in the newest Voices. Tri is influencing us, clearly!).
Ahhhh man, no one likes "that" family member. The one you can never seem to please, and who talks down to you under the guise of direction. Honestly I'm proud of Tai for speaking the way he did: calm but firm, with his own authority, and never with disrespect. I would have thought he'd have an outburst and say something he'd regret, but the boy nailed it. I wonder if he was steeling himself for that?
I love her aunt praising Tai for his tan XD I can see her high-fiving Hana over her cute boyfriend XD Ahhhh, see, we all need more family members like that, and fewer of the strict ones. I'm impressed that Hana doesn't just... kind of avoid her grandmother, especially when the distance would make it easy.
High five for Tai stepping up his game like a champ! Thanks so much for the update :D :D

Hahaha, I'm dying at how Matt didn't even bat his eyelashes at throwing Sora under the bus in his place XD "Hey you know who loves talking about confessions? SORA. YOU SHOULD GO SEE HER."
Ahhh and Hana is so funny! "I need you guys to tell me if this will work. It won't work? Ugh! So rude!" xD XD XD I really liked Izzy's prey reaction to Hana, hahaha xD
She has a very unique relationship with her father, and it's very nice. We so often see the teenage child disliking and avoiding the parent in stories, so their open relationship stands out. Kurosawa Papa is one chill dude XD

First, I had to check and see if "vehiculates" is a word. It apparently is. Nice! XD
Hm, I have to wonder if Ryo is getting tired? He really seems to be digging deep for the... Patience? Energy? to talk to Izzy. And let's be honest, he's already dealt with two dudes, and Izzy's a tougher case than the others. And bringing Mimi up was a low jab. You'd think he'd choose something different, especially knowing the difficulties of dealing with Mimi, but I'm guessing he has his reasons. I like that he knows her well enough to ask permission before using her as conversational bait XD
But at the same time, I don't know if Ryo really had to use bait to tell Izzy that he needs to reach out to the people around him. I can see having a difficult time starting that conversation, though... I guess he wanted Kou's full attention XD It's kind of strange territory! Koushiro, you are strange XD
I can't help but wonder if Koushiro and Ryo could be friends or not. At this point, Yama and Ryo seem more likely to be buddies. For some reason, Ryo seems to put Koushiro's back up. Not as much as Taichi, of course, but he's definitely wary.

Man, so much non-verbal communication at the beginning of the story- Tai and Hana, Yama and Sora, and even Yama and Kou. Interesting.
"Tai's negligence is making you look good." "That's often the case." Oh, Tai. Oh, Tai. Poor baby. I wonder if he has any clue that this is the case XD
And ahhh, more nonverbal communication- Kou is behind Tai, and yet he can guess what Tai is trying to point to, and he irritably corrects it. I love it, I love it XD God bless these kids!
HOLY CRAP is that the first time anyone has asked Ryo to talk about himself? Well, I suppose we usually see him speaking to Tai, who spends the whole conversation defending and being mad. But then, Ryo seems a little stunned to be asked such a simple question, and that's so sadface D: Poor dude. I mean, I guess he sort of does it to himself, but still...
Whoa wait sorry sorry... Ryo's father smells of "barbeque sauce and cigar smoke"? GOOD GOD. I love that! XD XD You know, Ryo seems reluctant to talk, but then he drops the f word himself... By which I mean father, of course. Maybe he's decided that it would do him good to talk, after all?
Hmm, I like how Ryo keeps stepping up his conversational game. At first, he lets Matt "win," by speaking about himself. But as the conversation goes on, Matt struggles to keep up, and he ends up shocked. It's like Ryo is saying, "Nice try, son, but not quite." XD XD
Whoof! Whoa! So then Ryo nearly slips, saying that HE'D kill for what Matt has with Sora, and then Matt brings up Hana, and then Ryo shuts the conversation the hell down. Which makes me wonder... Does Ryo regret choosing his new girlfriend over Hana? Does he wish they were still together, or did he leave her, in part, BECAUSE their telepathy was only one way? Hrm.
I enjoyed this chapter a lot! Some of the narration veered a bit too, uh, sentimental for my tastes, especially towards the beginning and the end, but I sense that we have different tolerance levels for that. Mine seems to be decreasing, oops! I'm super excited for Izzy time, as you can guess! Thanks for writing :D

Why did you have to say "assbutt"? You know I'm going to start saying that all of the time now. And I thought "assface" was good...! How naive I was!
Okay, I'm going to be that assbutt again and ask who dropped these kids off in the middle of nowhere, since none of them can drive (right?). Did they take a bus or something? It feels a bit mysterious, the story starting with them just sort of... there. Although I suppose the detail doesn't really matter XD
Can I just say that I kind of sqee'd when Tai intercepted when Ryo was sort of picking on Izzy? That was pretty great! And of course, Izzy responds by pointing out EXACTLY where Mt. Fuji is- classic, boy. Classic.
AHHH OH MAN Taichi's reaction to sitting in the car...! What IS it with some dudes and fancy cars? And his anticipation over sports mode...! You're killing me!
Auuughhh I love how Ryo and Tai talk to each other- more specifically, how Tai is like NOPE. NOPE. NOT HAPPENING. But I also have to say something about Ryo here- That line, "Hana's happiness is connected with yours." That's potent stuff right there, friend. I have to wonder if Tai is suspicious of Ryo's debt motivation here... I have to wonder what Ryo is thinking. It's impossible to get a read on him. Does he mean it? I hope so, because I want him to!
