this story is EXACTLY what I have been looking for :) the premise is awesome, i especially like how Kili is heir to both Mirkwood and the Lonely Mountain. The description of Kili's bow in particular was well done. I would love to read more of this, especially the inevitable encounter with Thranduil (and Legolas?) in Mirkwood :D

You sir are an immature child. Did you even ready this fanfiction? Are you aware that just because there is an OC and she is female doesn't make her a Mary Sue. If you don't like OC fanfictions then simple don't read them. You don't have to be a troll.

Yea, so this WAS good until you said OC. I hate to break it to you but nobody except hormonal idiotic fangirls who are about 12 or are of older age who are idiots will like this. You ruined this for me. Besides I typed in specifically Kili and Thorin not Kili and some lame ass Mary-Sue bitch I want to slit the throat of.

My writing mentor is actually a published author, so I'll be happy to keep a lookout for things that might need improving.
First thing, though. If you're writing an OC/Kili story there is a VERY high chance the OC will be a Sue. Please google 'mary sue litmus test' and take it ASAP. If you can't write one character without her being Sue, how are you ever going to manage writing a believable full cast?

I like where this story's going. A very interesting idea. The fact that Thorin 'Elf-hater' is having to pretend to hate the one thing he loved must be so hard on him.
Kíli's character is very interesting too. The fact that he's attuned with nature and has the ability to see both sides of arguments when it comes to politics... He's very much his father's son. And I think the thing with the bow, how it made him feel complete, was very moving.
Well, you said you were open to suggestions so...
When you get to Mirkwood, which I hope you will, if he hasn't been told already about his herritage, then maybe Thranduil or Legolas should notice something... familiar about Kíli. Or even sooner than that maybe! Perhaps Galadriel talks to him about having a special destiny or something.
Just a few suggestions. :P
I hope you continue! And good luck with your War and Peace!
