Alright, so I wasn't expecting to love this story so much. I never really liked Gale/Peeta stories, because they're one of those couples that never made sense to me. But your take on them was pretty realistic, and I can actually imagine it happens. You made this couple work, which, in my opinion, is brilliant. And I also love the line that you used in the description of the story - that's what made me check out the story in the first place.
So anyway. I really love it, and I hope part two will be up really soon. Are there more parts to this story, or just two parts?

best peeta/ gale AU I've read. Seriously. Can't wait til next til next time. I don't know who I like more Gale or Peeta, but I do like Gale's pov a lot. The angst, the sadness, but also the little moments of peace I liked, I hope they find some more of that peace together. The smut was appropriately crass but not overboard although, I'm looking forward to see if they actually "do it" after the tour.

I don't usually enjoy or read these type of fan fictions because they are really awkward or too much for me to read. But you've done the impossible. You've made it so that I could in fact read a slash and enjoy it. Great work and I can't wait for the next part :)

Wow what a great fic so far! This might be the best Gale/Peeta fic I have read so far. I'm glad that the story isn't incomplete by accident. I can't wait to see part two! : D

Wow, just wow...it was freaking amazing. The imagery, the emotion, the desperation and longing. You've captured all amazingly. You almost kind of wished this to be the outcome. Almost though. But still a great alternative either way, my dear author. I look forward to part 2 with baited breath! Im sure you will not disappoint!
