Haha! Yeah sorry about that. But mine turned out to be longer than expected so technically you posted your story first.
Anyway, what can I say that I don't normally say? Your writing is always superb and interesting. I wasn't quite sure myself whether they had private bathrooms like that in hotels back then, so I just avoided the topic all together. Glad you didn't hesitate in this regard. ;)

I love this! It's easy to make the night something fluffy and sweet but hard to portray the awkwardness that would most likely accompany the night and you did it wonderfully!
