This was fantastic! Jim would give himself an allergic reaction and almost kill himself to get McCoy through a test. He's never one to give up, and if it means causing McCoy extra worry, then so be it.

Yeah you'd forget you were taking a test that required you face your worst fear too if your friend stopped breathing due to an allergic reaction.

Since you appeared to have only recived one word reviews and your story definitely deserved more here goes. I like this story, I could see Kirk doing sopmething like taht to help McCoy out. Kirk has this sense of he'll do anything to help another person even sacrifice himself. An example is in the movie. He jumped off the drill to save Sulu and I don't think he even thought taht he might not make it. He was focused on saving Sulu and at that moment his life wasn't as important.
Only three things that Kirk can eat at the buffet table, that's a let down! And whay only juice and an apple, because he knew he was going to make himself go into ananhyalctic shock once he got on the shuttle?
Just the questions of a curious reader fell free to answer them or not. Anyway nice story I like it!
