This was perfect. I love how he makes her a card. The nerves in both of them were very in character and was sweet. Nice birthday it turned out for her!

The perfect follow up to the first chapter! And a really good reason to re-read that one. I like how Evan is so nervous about this not-quite-romance with Jen. It's a different side of him that isn't seen very often.

You had him well in character here - I could imagine him wanting to keep his birthday a secret but still be touched that someone remembered. I liked Jenn here too, and how she reacted almost getting caught dropping off the card. Well done you! *leaves with that smile still firmly in place*
