And this is the true ending of Pocahontas 2! The only reason we don't get to see it is because Executive Meddling got in the way! XD

In my mind, Pocahontas had to be "mad" to just dump Smith so bluntly in the sequel. At least John has a chance to redeem himself a bit more, here.

One question: do they live in England or Virginia after the wedding?

Marvelous plot line. But for a few awkward sentences it was wonderful! DEFINITELY how the first film should have ended . . . good psychological insight into Pocahontas' mind. The chronic insomnia as a trigger for irrationality was a brilliant touch. John was pretty forward and physical before he realized she was chronically sleep deprived.

Aw, you're too sweet. It's good to know my nagging paid off though:) It gives me something to do besides read cases
Speaking of paying off...
HOLY FREAKING CRAP, WOMAN! You've been holding out on us! Where did this come from?
Seriously, this is probably THE BEST thing you've written to date. So emotionally gripping and realistic. And, like all good Pocahontas fic, rectifies that horrendous sequel (which shall not be named).
Amazing, amazing job. Definitely worth the wait and all my whining :)
