Hello. Poetry is an odd one. It's great - i liked your emphasis of the passive nature of the protagonist by the repeated use of 'my.' Critically Speaking in just one or two lines the meter doesn't flow as well as the rest of the poem. I'm on my phone so I can't quote. I do like how it speeds to a climax as the lines decrease in length though. There is just one line that somehow takes away from this. Thrumming made me thInl of hummingbirds for no reason whatsoever.

Well, here's a flame someone send to me in one of my stories. I was going to trash it, but since you could use it better, here it goes!
Now, moving on from my terrible joke, this was really awesome! I'm sorry I can't offer any advise or constructive criticism because I don't know a thing of poetry, but I can at least tell you how amazing I found it. And don't let the lack of readers bring you down. Its their loose :) Keep writing, hope to read you soon :)
