Great chapter, when Harry and Tonks finally met up, the idea of them being attracted to each other was expected, immortality was a bit of a shock though. Can't wait for more.

Well that's certainly an interesting idea. And I do imagine an undetectable shape-shifter would be the greatest security threat pretty much ever, well, unless they could also duplicate themselves. The immortality doesn't surprise me. Mystique from X-Men was an adult back in 1903. Flash forward 100 years and she has a son in his 20s.

What's stopping them from just combining the game breaking abilities of other species with none of the weaknesses...I guess I can understand why people would kill them on sight but that generally breeds contempt which leads to the victim growing fangs. Not to mention why would they go out of their way to acquire all of those things when no one crazy is trying to kill them.
And really do you want something that can grow extra heads, possess a type of instant regeneration, grow bullet and spell resistant skin, change its lungs into that of a dragon's while blasting you with spells, sprouting combat tentacles and trying to inject you with basilisk venom hell let's throw in dementor aura for lulz trying to kill you?

Just to throw something out there into the ether... Since Tonks seems to have made a secret life of for herself in the muggle world perhaps when Harry joins her there at some point in the future they discover In Vitro Fertilization and surrogates and decide to see of they can have children that way. They can both provide eggs and sperm for the process. If a Hidden Shifter world doesn't already exist, perhaps this gives them the means to create one themselves with their many offspring.
