I kept reading just so i can see her face her fears and grow up. But no. She just kept on running away and the author made it seem as though her ignorance was justifiable. It is NOT. She could've saved so many lives had she just opened the god damn seal! It would've been ok if she was reborn without her memories. But in this case she CHOSE ignorance. And despite acknowledging that knowing the future could save others, despite her inner self literaly telling her of pein's attack, she STILL choss ignorance. I despise the MC so much for her sheer COWARDICE!

It's one thing to have a shy MC. It's another for the MC to be a coward. Seriously, i thought she would release the seal on her memories before shippuden. But she just kept on running away from it until it keeps on getting worse.

I don’t usually comment on , cause the comment setup is really strange. But I can’t just leave after finishing such an amazing story— I read both endings, and loved both equally (actually. The realistic ending takes the cake, it was so sad but it was definitely one of the best endings I’ve ever read, both counting fanfiction and actual books.) thank you so much for writing and sharing such an amazing story, my hours of reading this were not waisted! I think I’ll check out some of your other writing, no promises on commenting though. Not sure if anything can beat a story like this, haha. 3

On the one hand, I want to deck you in the face(for all the all the horrible, terrible emotion you made me feel). On the other hand I want to hug you(for the beautiful story, and all of the wonderful emotion this story has wrought upon me) Possibly both, in that order. You know, somehow I think I agree with you. I generally love happy endings (even if they're unrealistic) and angst kills something in me, but somehow, the realistic ending felt more...in place? The happy ending silomegow felt almost like it didn't fit. Maybe that because we didn't see how the war went with the happy ending or the events leading up to the happy ending. Even though it was sad and I wished Nao survived, the realistic ending just fit, which I suppose why it was called the realistic ending in the first place. That said, I loved this story. A lot. Nao purposefully forgetting and locking her memories away was masterfully done, and I love the characterization throughout the story. Thank you so much for writing this.
