Oh my. I guess I imagined this as the story that would never end, haha. But Brava, brava Sarahbob. This was lovely. I enjoyed how you wrapped it all up, and how Enjolras' mother comes around at the end. Lord know that boy needs a fresh start. As for the sequel, I am all for it. I will admit, I had a very certain feeling about the man's son being Courf. So I guess I'm interested in how that would play out in the future. Well, I know that I will miss always having a page of this open in my browser on my phone. (I tend to keep old chapters open and then just reread them at times). Thank you so much for giving us all your stories.

A beautiful ending to an equally as beautiful story, my dear! This was full of what I love about a good story - drama, feels, tension, fluff, angst, happiness, light moments, dark moments, I could go on. Enjolras's fear and worries are heartbreakingly tangible and Combeferre's desperation yet frustration as to how to help him just get you right here (points to heart). They are both portrayed extremely realistically and I congratulate you.
As to a continuation, while I don't doubt that you would be able to do it wonderfully, there don't really seem any loose ends needing to be tied, so I'm not sure about that, but I'm sure it would be wonderful if you did decide to do it, so I support it.

Oh my dear, this is such a wonderful ending! The letter from Enjolras' mother was such a lovely surprise- every word you've written through her voice is so wonderfully heartfelt and the clause: 'I lost one son due to criminality and injustice. I lost the other to my own stupidity' just about broke my heart- stunningly well written my friend and so emotional without being over theatrical- well done. I love how you've kept everyone feeling slightly broken here- broken but still filled with hope- it feels better than healing them all in a single shot and oh that final embrace- I have so much I want to say about it but if I even try to put everything into coherent words- I may just break down, so I won't- just remember that it is absolutely stunningly well written and the fact that Enjolras can smile again after everything… yup… I'm rambling…
All in all an absolutely sublime ending to a stunning story my dear which I will miss greatly, but I honestly can't express how proud I am of you and how far you've come writing-wise since you started this.
