Can I just say that I was really, really impressed with this story. I'm a very strong Rose fan, but I'm often not very impressed by Doctor/Rose reunion fics because so many people have them get together almost instantly. I'm glad you didn't do that, especially after Rose had such an awful past.
I also like the way you wove her into Season 5 in a believable way. Rose's relationship with Rory and River was especially well done. All in all, 20 out of 10 stars. Hope to see more by you soon.

Um, I just finished reading the prologue, and Rose isn't anything like that. This is totally OOC.
1) Rose, hearing the gunshots, would have asked the Doctor about them.
2) Then, the two of them realizing that they were in the midst of a war zone, would have dashed back to the TARDIS.
3) If they didn't make it back in time, the Doctor would have pulled the both of them to the floor.
4) Even if the Doctor got shot, Rose wouldn't stop speaking for ten years, nor would she just leave the TARDIS or stay away from her home. She would be emotional, but she's sensible enough to bury a damn decomposing body. And she wouldn't just all of a sudden become this harsh, cruel savior.
So! I'm not that interested in this sort of story anyway. I thought it would be something else-ish. Of course, you can write completely OOC stories if you want to. I just prefer to read things where I can see it happening.

This was an amazing piece that I enjoyed the whole time. My favorite part was the fact that Rose didn't go back to the doctor in a snap, she didnt recover in one chapter. It takes time, more than one chapter, lots of coaxing and lots of tea, to really help someone that far gone to recover. I felt that this element of, time, I guess you could call it, is one you don't usually find in fanfictions. -

It's literally almost 5 and I stayed up ALL NIGHT reading this little gem. I absolutely adore how you incorporated so much of series 6 with all of the characters and the eleventh doctor and just... The plot was well done with enough twist and just... GAH I LOVE THIS.
