I'll be sad if you don't do a sequel. Your story inspires me to create a hybrid based OC. I've always thought of it because I like the way people portray their OC's animalistic characteristics. Kate's is very feminine and sweet to me. She is overall small and lithe. I really do like that. It's just adorable and cute. But, is she paired with anyone? It seems like Alex has an unknowing-knowing crush on her, while Sean is like a carefree older brother type person. I hope you update soon! Love your story. And thanks for sharing it with everyone!
