"I…hunt…why…shoot…?"
My mind went straight back to this line as soon as I finished reading. At first when I saw the story being under 'Tragedy' I thought there is no way I'm gonna cry because of a story. Than it all got more and more heart wrenching until I got to the part where Gibbs himself wept over Tony, in that part I shed tears with him.
This whole story is a beautiful example of a tragedy story, even the plot of the epilogue is so sad, the woman accidentally crushing the cub of mama bear, making her too grieve for her son dying in such unfair way and leading to hurting Gibbs' own son severely.
What I'm trying to say is - thank you for making me weep at 5 AM. I needed that.

I cried (sniffs) Tony's emotions were spot on (takes deep breath) His sence of protrction was perfect. I could totally imagine Gibbs crying over Tony if he where to die. I could read this over and over again. Well done.

ok, i'll be honest with you...it's a beautiful day outside, the sun is shining, the sky is incredibly blue, and here i am, unable to see straight through my tears. honest enough?
*deep breath* great fist story. i love how you focused on the characters, and how you described tony's thoughts at the time. also that you gave us the identity of the killer and what happened to her, and i liked that you did it as an epilogue, kinda like a side note. she really wasn't all that important, except for the fact that she caused all of what happened afterwards. the only thing i missed was an explanation of the kid's past and what he was doing there...
great job!
