I think this is a great start! Nimue is very interesting, I can't wait to see how you develop her. As to the love plotline, just let it write itself. The characters will tell you what/who they want! :)

I love this story! Please update soon. One thing though. I would recommend not doing a three way. Just do either thorin or kili. If you do both the story will get confusing and may lose some of its fire. But preferably Kili, if I may suggest. There aren't near enough good kili stories out there and I think that this could bean epic one. :)
