I just have to say WOW! This was an amazing, intricately woven story that brought in so many of the elements of the show and used them as clues to show what Pelant was doing and his motivations. It made connections that made a lot of sense but i would have never thought of! I’m just really blown away by the talent of the author!

Well, minus the wedding(i loved their wedding) this was definitely a much better outcome than what the show runners gave us. I could not believe that everyone was so angry with Booth. After all these years, they all could not figure out there was something wrong. That Booth was not acting like himself. Seriously, he looked like he was in agony. Only Hodgins was in his right mind. It really bothers me that Brennan looses faith in Booth so easily. It was not the first time and was not the last.

There's an error in this story. A Catholic marriage is recorded civilly, at least in the United States. So the priest would require them to get a marriage license at the courthouse before the Catholic ceremony. Yes .

I’m not Catholic but I love how you resolved this issue between them.
I really wish the show had made as much sense as your story did regarding Pelant. He seemed so over the top and his obsession never made a lot of sense to me. It doesn’t help that I’ve only watched those episodes once as I couldn’t stomach what the writers were doing.
Your perspective is so clear in your stories and I love how detailed you are. The research shines through. Thank you for sharing and prompting me to look at things differently and gain a deeper understanding.

Pelant is frankly where this show jumped the shark. They threw out any grounding to reality the show could claim with how absurdly powerful they made this villain.

I still haven't seen this episode and to be honest, stories like this don't make me want to watch it. Not that this isn't good (it's your writing so of course it's wonderful), but it just emphasizes how much that storyline didn't make any sense.
