Welcome to the Cape fandom. It's lovely to have a new writer. :)
This was actually a very sweet story. :3 And Orwell finally admitting *one* bit of truth to her partner (even if he's not there to hear it). Because she clearly has problems with trust there. :\ Her crush on Vince was doomed to fail, poor thing. *hugs her* I think she's a bit like most of fandom, in that regard. *sighs*
My favorite part of this is Orwell admitting what her real name is, even though she's alone when she does. She needs a hug after this. Because damn.
Lovely story, though.

Ah, poor Ms. Fleming. My heart does go out to Orwell. Mind, she could be daring in other respects, but heaven forbid she share her secrets with her partner. I've no doubt her name would have come out eventually and that she'd have been better off volunteering the information.
(Hm. Personally, I spell her name Jamie, but what's in the spelling? An Orwell by any other name would be as heartbroken.)
