for Just a Silent Prayer on a Snowy Night

_"And you chase me like a shadow,
And you haunt me like a ghost.
And I hate you some,
I love you some,
but I miss you most.

On a bus to St. Cloud, Minnesota
I thought I saw you there
With the snow falling down around you
Like a silent prayer."_

Well. I must say, you captured the spirit of the song perfectly in this. It really makes me see Peter as a human being, the hero of his own story. As every man is, in his own way, I suppose. I know we're supposed to root for Jaime and despise Peter, but you did a very adept job of turning those emotions around. Heh, you're a talented writer, Roya. Keep it up.

New story! Yay!

*reads first line; feels happy feeling go away* Why. Why would you write this...? *ugly sobbing* Poor Peter. *cuddles him* He really does try to be a good parent and provide for his daughter and do all sorts of things for her.

Including building an evil empire, but hey, no family is perfect. He tried, though. And Jamie did not like him for it. :( That is one sad, messed-up family right there. Poor bbs. *hugs them*

And then. Peter. Being proud of his daughter for being so damn hard to find and stuff. And... Just... But. Poor Peter. Oh bb, you need a hug. *cuddles him*

The last part is the real killer, though.

*leaves to do more ugly sobbing*

OMG! :( I want to give Peter a hug after reading this. And he could probably also use a lecture for taking so long to get his priorities straight, but mostly a hug; poor Peter.

...Poor Jaime, too, but she is the one that went into hiding. They say 'don't go to bed angry' and here she's kept the rift open for so long... :(

Excellent work. Loved the description of baby!Jaime.
