Hmmm...a pretty late update and hoe many sekirei are you gonna give to shirou and is your fic gonna be similar to in flight or there are gonna be differences to it

This has been an engaging story so far. I'm really enjoying Karasuba and Shirou's relationship, as weird as it is. Minato's naivety is annoying, expected, and wonderfully ironic all rolled into one.
One minor issue I have is with this in chapter 3: No time to Trace. I drew the small combat knife I kept in my belt loop. Prior experience has taught me that keeping non-Traced blades on my person could and would save me from horrific pain and death.
Quite a few times during F/SN [the VN, haven't seen the anime] Shirou traces swords when a Servant is already mid-swing/strike coming at him. Servant's superhuman speeds maybe leave him with 0.1 of a second if you're being generous, and then Shirou goes into internal monologue mode and his crafting swords uses arias and he struggles with it - sometimes it feels like hismagic is constipated, lol - and then the blade/s appear in his hand/s just in time to deflect the incoming strike.
Shirou can do all of that in what seems to be an instantaneous process as seen by an outside observer. I don't think that such a thing as "no time to trace" is possible for Shirou, as he seems to be able to pull off instantaneous tracing no matter how terribly wounded or in pain he is.

Nice job with this chapter. I really enjoyed Karasuba here. This is turning into one of the best (if not the best) In Flight spinoffs I've read.

With the content of this chapter one starts to grow a little leery of Shirou having involvement of any kind in the Plan, if only to limit the number of Sekirei causalities, but the bits from Karasuba make one wonder what she's planning to test Shirou with, or if her telling him of Takami's injury IS the test, to see what he does. Angry Crow takes Flight...the next chapters title has left me insatiably curious.
