I am so glad to hear from you! I remember reading this story so long ago and wanting so much to hear it's conclusion. You are an excellent writer! Hey, there are more important things in life than fanfic, and one of them is taking care of yourself in REAL life. That said, writing can also be a catharsis where we are able to sort out and explore difficult things we have gone through within the safety of an anonymous fandom.
When you're ready to write, just take it one word at a time. Don't worry about perfecting it - do that after you've put your thoughts down. Writing takes time and it requires a piece of your soul. I can absolutely relate to when you said you think about it regularly. My longest novel sat unfinished at over 150,000 words for 8 years. I thought about it almost every day.
Eventually, I sat down and wrote. It sucked. I had lost the flow, and I couldn't hear the characters anymore. I watched the shows again, and I reread my entire novel from the beginning. After scrapping that next chapter three times, the words came back and I finally finished it.
So, I say all that to say - take your time. When you write again, we will be here. ((hugs))

I'm so glad you're in a much better position now! I can't describe the feeling of seeing this fic in my inbox after so many years - after all this time I can still remember some of the plot.
OG Sherlolly stans were few and far between back in the day. It was an honour fighting the good fight beside you and it's good to hear you're doing well, whether this fic gets finished or not. I'll be keeping up with it right up until it does.

What a wonderful surprise to see in my email! :D this fic of yours was one of the first sherlolly fics that I discovered and got excited about, and I truly enjoyed it. It also certainly contributed to me getting into writing my own!
