I can just see it! Poor Sesshoumaru :-) Children just KNOW if you're not serious in threatening them.
Asking InuYasha for help seems to be a little out of character for him. Rin must have worked a small miracle. If someone thought him weak because he didn't want to hurt the children of "Rin's village", though, I bet he would still take their head off (literally)...
