This story was very true to AHS Season 1; you got all characters down pat. I especially liked how you clearly wrote this for AHS fans, i.e. you didn't waste time explaining things so that a non-fan would understand what was going on. We die-hard already KNOW the back-story, so we just wanted you to get to the meat of things, and you did. Boy, did you ever!
I must check your other offerings to see what other AHS stories you've posted.

Really great story. I loved the interaction between Constance and Tate in the show, and I think you did a great job of bringing the dynamics of their relationship to life in your story. I could picture this scene playing out exactly as you wrote it. One of my favorite scenes in that season was when Constance smacked Tate for what he'd done to Vivien, and I think she would have had a very similar reaction the first time she saw him after the shooting. I especially found it believable that she would then break down into distraught tears of her own. I enjoyed the end bit too, with her telling him to go to bed, and him balking at the idea. It's a nice set up for what their relationship will look like once the Harmon's get there. It's also kind of amusing for the mass murderer to be sent to bed by his mother. :) Thanks for sharing the story.

Nice gap-filler. She's an evil bitch but I've always felt badly for Constance. She's had a hard life. I love how well your story encapsulates her relationship with Tate.
