I love that Edward and Bella are both getting the help they need. I think that when they are reunited they can begin to move forward together.

Great chapter. You're such an insightful writer. Lines like " the dulcet tones of polite evil" are just wonderful. I know there's a reason for this, but you've skipped over the actual sessions with Edward where Bella is in attendance, presumably to recall them in flashback. But I was dying to read her response to him ( and he- her) when they finally saw one another for the first time. There's such an electric energy between them, and she didn't know if he would be his old self. On a re-read of the prior chapter, I was also concerned when the nurse sensed his energy at the piano and pray he did not partake of her creepy obsession.
Then Bella's reference to the "humiliation" of his paintings"? Dying to know what that's about? Perhaps his memories and desire of their physical relationship, which, with them, is hard to separate from the non-physical? Hmmm.
And then theres Alice. I realize shes a necessary pain-in-the ass, but she takes and takes. Carlisle is awesome, tedious, but awesome.
Genius!
PS. I've assumes the crash position on more than one occasion, and I remain free, miraculously!
