I must tell you that when I saw all of the chapter alerts in one day, I was COMPELLED to read your story again from the beginning! I love, love, love these characters and the story line so very much. I got back in touch with how much and why I do. The inner dialogue you write is so wonderful, whimsical and real at the same time. I am loving that you came back to it to finish! Thanks so much, hope life was good to you while you were "out there" in the real world. :o )

You have a terrific knack for LMAO humor that is also touching (double entendre intended - don't forget the latex). The new chapter and our unexpected narrator epitomize both of those qualities: the funny and the so-sour-it came back around to sweet.
