This was beautifully written and amazing. I like it :)
I think it would be cool to see this turn into a BBC Merlin crossover, but it's good just like this too. Maybe leave this here as a oneshot and continue the crossover under a different title (of course stating that this is the first chapter or something lol) ?

That would be really annoying to subconsciously have a clock ticking in your head to your impending doom. Almost as annoying as my 't' key on my laptop being jammed and have to jab at nearly every time I want to use it. That was a good prologue.
