Super mega awesome. I remember the great clan wars days. When the world server was still around and clan warred against clan to see who was the greatest. Oh there is still a patched world server around but it is'nt like the good old days.
When I first started playing halo when I was in school I used to have to hide in the library sometimes and hide the game files in the system, sneak a game and always keep watch least i get caught and kicked out, or worse banned... I did get banned and thrown out of the IT Lab numerous times though. always got away with it in the library though. lol
As i entered the teaching profession myself and eventually became a professor I introduced those students who reminded me of myself back then to the game and they were hooked. Some of them can even defeat me in matches nowadays. I trained them well. The later versions of the game came out and the story continued. One of the things I always enjoyed was the synergy between John and Cortana. Coming across this short fic was a pleasant reminder of my younger days when things were much simpler.

Thank you for this, I curled up in the fetal position and cried at the end of Halo 4 and this makes me feel like everything is alright again even if it isn't in that part of the multiverse. So again, thank you.
