Oh Lord that was perfect. Simply mesmerizing. I was captivated by the first sentence, the flow of the words was just like elven, so lovely and heartbreaking. Not to mention I'm sitting in a coffee shop and the most perfect song came on, a sad piano piece and i could imagine a glorious tree wilting in the autumn and dying in winter before spring could revive it. Just amazing.
Their love was a beginning with too soon an end. It isn't mentioned in the game, but i do believe the Salish (F) Elf and Tamlen were lovers, or at least expected marry. A classic star-crossed tale.
