One thing that I wanna point out is that I recently read another fic that was posted way before this was posted..and it was really similar..like some of the paragraphs were worded the same way and it had the same theme and everything..

Heartbreaking. It was short, but a solid read nevertheless. Well done.
On a side note, don't feel discouraged to try writing out of your comfort zone! That's how people become better writers; writers push their boundaries.
