Agreement with Vernon: yes! Harry using his supposed slytherin side, which, apart from being mentioned by the hat, never ever appeared in canon, in order to get better living conditions is a nice touch, bonus for doing so since before hogwarts.
Funnily enough, for a cunning boy, he got one rather griffindor digimon dinosaur.
I really do hope those super laptops can get signal in the old castle, otherwise our poor hero is going to have a miserable time, internet, gaming, and MMORPG withdrawal, oh my.
On the other hand... guilmon eating the phillosopher's stone (because, really, he'd totally do it), scorched diary, dementors vs Onmyoudou charms, first tournament task turned into a kaiju fight, something-seadramon vs lake octopus for the second, burning a hole through the maze for third... ridiculously large and overpowered evolved digimon vs clueless wizards for voldie's welcoming party... *snickers* avada-FINAL ELYSION *BOOM*.
Come to think of it, why the hell did the hat suggested the house of snakes for canon harry? ambition? 'i.. err.. wanna be... dunno.. auror... i... guess' nope, cunning? eeh...'it was snape/malfoy! (voldemort sneaks around in the background)' nope, poise? self-control? a silver tongue? hell no, plotting? '(follows orders brainlessly, looks at hermione/dumbledore for next orders, broods, follows orders anyways)' nope, self preservation instincts? err.. I won't even bother with that one. Seriously, other than looking good in green, why the hell?

It's digimon. Digimon is one of the greatest things ever... even if canon isn't really consonant with itself.
Still I want to continue reading it. Thought it might be a little better if Harry was a girl in this one. Don't know why but it would be interesting. Also Digimon never had a female team leader.
OH have Hermione as a possible tamer as well.
This is a very entertaining story.

I really think you should keep going with this one, at least. The plot line is good, the story is fleshing out well, and the characters are understandable. It's turning into a good one!

*blinks* I don't think I'll ever get the reference to the tomatoes thing..unless it was a war with a crazy doc who brought killer tomatoes to life (good cartoon P)

The chapter was rather fun, poor mcgonagall already lost the battle and doesn't even know it. Now all we need is more dumbledore being befuddled.
Does the changed last name mean he got demon-adopted? wasn't animal transformation a black charm or was it just the improved version that was one? it's been a real long time since I read that series, so I'm not sure on either.
Also, yay for corrupting the house elves!
