Chao- Interesting first chapter. You really seemed to have written the parts for Kaiba's attitude quite appealing even if he should be older. Guess some people never mature. And what does Mai want with Yugi? Are other duelists wanting to face him too? Also liked the scene between Rebecca and Yugi. You wrote her role pretty well. What's next for Yugi? Update soon!

Dump the spinoff bashing (especially since you don't watch them and therefore don't know what you're talking about) and this idea could be something interesting. You don't have to like them, but refrain from insulting them, at the least.
The way you write Kaiba implies that he hasn't emotionally matured at all, and he did a great deal of that before DM ever ended, so ten years later? He's not going to have dumped it all.
one other note: DA isn't in Domino City. It's on an island in the Pacific. You could at least do a little research.

This is a very good story so far. I find it awesome how you have Yugi traveling around the world in this time line considering so many people forget that detailed mentioned in the gx anime. Still, I find the interaction between Yugi and Rebecca good. Now I am curious to see what'll happen next.
