I have officially binge read this and am currently screaming at my phone. How did Shinichi know? Who the flip has Kaito? What the actual heck is going on anymore? I am so heavily invested and I love the characters, the settings, the stakes, holy flip this is all amazing and I can’t wait to see more.

Haha, this chapter has this creepy feeling...especially regarding whoever (or whatever) it is that Kaito's with. I don't think the fake-Shin-chan means him any harm (since he made Kaito drink blood to save him and apparently wants Kaito to stay there?) but you can never really be sure. Anyway, creepy. But kudos for Kaito since he realized within minutes that it's not Shin-chan.
Also, I cracked up when Hakuba wondered if the creepy old man is related to Kaito, haha. All that talk about games and excitement XD
Hope they meet up again soon! Love this chap!

DUH DUH DUUUUUUUUUH!
You're torturing me. I thought for sure that the little thing from before was a little time skip where Shinichi found Kaito. My god was I wrong.
And Shinichi is going to end up killing all his friends via heart attack. I think he's growing a little reckless without Kaito stopping him. And I can't wait until he tells Kaito about the careless things that he's done in Kaito's absence.
And I loved how perceptive Kaito was when it came to the Shinichi impersonator. He was so quick when it comes to figuring out that he was being tricked. It just goes to show how well Kaito knows Shinichi.
This chapter was awesome. Feel no pressure when it comes to updating, though. I'll be here either way. Still, thank you for this.

I think you killed me when you wrote "He wanted to open his mouth and tell his beloved that there was no need to sound so scared." God, all them feels. Kaito is such a sweetheart.
I have absolutely no doubt that that was Shinichi that found Kaito. It can't be someone else. *Please* The only problem is the blood. Is Kaito going to be upset when he realized that they literally had to pour blood into his mouth?
Also BTW, that lake was really creepy. It's amazing how you can think up these things. Please update soon, but seriously, no pressure. As long as this story is going to be finished, you can take your time with the updates.
